Check out this article for the Snohomish Tribune and Seattle Times that will be running in the next couple of weeks. We are very excited to be helping with this fun community event!
Exercise is always easier with a friend. With that in mind, the inaugural Muddy Mutt Run/Walk and Obstacle Course kicks off Saturday, May 3.
The event features a 1.25-mile course of various obstacles – from foam, to sand to tunnels.
After the running or walking, humans and dogs alike can enjoy a get-together on the farm with entertainment, food and drinks. Proceeds will go to help charities, including the Seattle Humane Society.
Mary Meyer and Sally Edwards, co-directors of the event, say too many adoptable dogs are being euthanized. “The Muddy Mutt is dedicated to raising money to support local shelters, as well as providing needed supplies for the working dogs helping with the Oso slide recovery,” they say.
